Here you will find the artwork and photography of Dawn Russell.

 I have been drawing and painting since I was a tiny child. And never once doubted that I would be an artist when I grew up. I remember when I was four, I drew a picture of my favorite animal, for my grandfather, and said, "Here Grampa, keep this. It will be special to you. When I grow up I will be famous!" Well, I may not be famous throughout the world, yet. But my artwork is in collections worldwide.

I was born in California, and raised in several places in Oregon, where I grew up and went to school. I have been a juried artist in several guilds, and have won awards in international competitions since I was 10 years of age. And have had my artwork published in magazines since that time. I specialize in pet portraiture, though I also do cartooning, greeting card designs, trading cards, and more. I paint, sculpt, draw, and do pyrography. I also design jewelry and have sold my works in many venues.
